Just remember, since this is a TWO-DAY hop,  you have until January 30th to post your comments on both days of the blog hop to be eligible for the GRAND PRIZE...  Thanks for joining us! For the hop today, I've created a Memory Box using CTMH "Memory Keeper" which is 9.5x10 and the front is magnetic. Love this!! I use my "Cindy Lou" cartridge and cut out "Doily3" at 7.5" and then I cut the "Flower5" at 6.5". I did it in shadow first then layered it up. I used my EK border punch and added some bling!! I've also made a matching card!! Hope you like it!

For my co-ordinating card, I used the same cart and cut the flower at 4"! I love how it all flows together!!

I hope you will hop along with us and leave comments along the way. For the overall blog candy you need to leave a comment on each blog each day. If you leave a comment on all the blogs both days your name will be entered into the Random drawing twice. The random winner will receive a $25 gift card from their choice of Michaels or Joanns. This is a TWO-DAY hop, so be sure to check out both days so you don't miss any creativeness. Because there is a large number of participants I will give you until January 30th to post your comments for the two days of the blog hop.  Thanks for joining us! Let's get hopping!! If you've hopped over from Elizabeth's blog, then you are in the right place!! If you've just popped in to visit my blog or are reading this via email and you'd like to join our FUN, then please CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with Suzanne's Blog.

For the hop today, I've created a little treat bag which says "Thanks" on the front. I used my CTMH "Art Philosophy" cartridge to cut out the bag as well as the large butterfly and then my "Cindy Loo" for the sentiment. The little flower and butterfly are Martha Stewart punches. I placed "Thanks" on a CTMH chipboard die cut that I sponged in "petal" ink to make it pop a little better. Hope you like it!!

Here's another card I made with one of my newest cartridges! This one is from "Just Because" cards. I made this for my nephew, Hayden, who had a birthday on Monday!! He's 8 years old already! Time flies us by! We went in on a bike for him and he's getting better and better with it. It's a BMX and he had to get used to it - different brakes etc - but he told me he's loving it!!! Have a great day all!

I gave this to my parents for their anniversary today!! Happy Anniversary!

My creative juices seem to be returning!! Last night I finished this card and this morning I did my LO for tmw's Lasting Memories challenge!! Feels good to be crafting again. It's All About Letters, Shapes and Numbers!

Hi all! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day today. The sun is finally shining here and the snow is starting to melt. Supposed to be in the + by the wknd!! Yahoo! So, today I ended up only having 1 of 4 daycare kids, so I decided to be a little productive and include Landen. Out came the cricut and my laminating machine and we came up with this idea! I've laminated everything and gave Landen a dry/erase marker as well so he can trace/erase and trace again! His name is done both separate letters and then all together as well. He's having a BLAST with his new goodies! He just turned 3, so I thought this would be a fun learning tool for him.He can't wait to show his parents and he's been toting his ziplock bag of letters, shapes and numbers EVERYWHERE! Too cute!

Happy New Years Eve!! Anyone have anything special planned? I think we're going to watch some movies we got for Christmas and play some board games. Santa brought us "Monopoly Canada" the electronic version. It uses bank cards! LOL! I'm looking fwd to playing it.

Here's another birthday card I put together the other night. I have 2 nieces with birthdays in January, so this is for one of them, but they'll have to wait and see which one!! I used my Mickey and Friends cricut cart for this one and my Martha Stewart punch.

"There Is No Greater Gift At Christmas..."

Good morning! As promised, here's a couple little Christmas cards I put together using my Hello Kitty cricut cart. Isn't she a doll? I was trying to come up with something a little different for my cards this yr and I think I did that for sure here! I bought the cards at Michaels and then just added my own touch. I put Hello Kitty together and then I added white fun flock, so she's nice and fuzzy! Don't ya love that bling too?? Michaels!! I just have to finish up the inside and then these will be heading out in time for Christmas. Have a great day!

How fun is this?? For my layout, I used CTMH Tinkerin' paper pack/stickease and my Life's A Beach cartridge. The pattern is from CTMH "Magic" book. I thought it was perfect for this layout. LMCB # 14 - "Punch" It Out with a Day At The Beach!

Good morning!! I am slowly getting back into routine...did I mention SLOWLY? LOL! It's been a tough week. We went from amazing 90 * weather to stinkin' snow here. So, speaking of snow, I thought this layout was perfect for this week's Lasting Memories challenge! We're challenging you to use your punches on your layout. How fun and easy, right?? Hope you can join us! This is a layout from our trip to Disney in '07. We went to this awesome water park called "Blizzard Beach". Was so neat!! I thought my snowflake punch was just perfect and really fit with my layout. I used my cricut "Life's A Beach" cartridge for the title and had to glitz it up with some glitter. Come on over to LM and have a peak at the rest of the DT's layouts and hopefully you can find a minute to play along!

Life's A Beach...

Good morning! So happy it's Friday here! We're heading into a nice long weekend filled with family and friends. We're holding Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday and really looking fwd to it. I love the smell of turkey when it fills your house! So, as promised, here's one of the layouts I recently finished from our trip to Florida in 2007. We spent ALOT of time at the beach and Ashleigh made some really cool sandcastles. This one was of the condo, complete with pool and jacuzzi. We scoured the beach for materials and away she went. I used my "Life's A Beach" cricut cartridge and I did computer journaling on velum and added it right over the photo. The layout pattern is from my CTMH "Magic" book. Love it! Have a GREAT day everyone! Supposed to be 21*C here this afternoon!!

My Little Mermaid

Good morning!! I just put this together this morning. I find with the summer months, I create when it hits me (if I can) otherwise nothing gets done! I just want to enjoy this weather while we have it. The humidity is gone and the nights are cooler now so the pool temp has definitely gone down, but not to worry, 2 days and counting and I'll be in it regardless! Can't wait for a week's holidays. No plans, just family time and R&R.
I made this layout completely out of my head and quite proud of myself! I'm trying to use my Cricut more and decided this is the perfect layout to get out my Life's A Beach cartridge!! Add a couple pearls, color up my mermaid with pearl chalks and voila! Love it!

OUCH!

A little story behind this cute layout. My nephew's 7th birthday is on the 18th, but because they'll be away on holidays, they had his b-day party with his friends yesterday and then family today. Well, my sister called last night and told me Hayden had broke his arm during his party. Apparently he was quite upset about messing up his birthday party and didn't even get to open presents. My brother in law took him to the hospital where they had to put him under just a little to reset the arm and put a temp cast on there. He goes tmw for a proper cast. They left the house about 3:30 and didn't get back till about 9:30. Poor little guy! He fell off the slide and landed on his arm. So, I got to work on a little something for him and came up with this layout. My sister can add the pic and the journalling. I'll give it to him today when we see him.

I used Cricut Paper Doll Dress Up and Plantin Schoolbook

I'm entering this in Glitterbabe's Challenge #2 - Orange, Pink and Tourquiose

Thank You...

Pls scroll down for todays Project Tuesday post!

Hi there! I have a card order to do and thought I would share. Dana just celebrated her son's 1st birthday, Thomas the Train theme. So she asked me to come up with something simple using a train. I looked up Thomas and followed the color scheme and added liquid applique for the puffy smoke. The card, train and thank you are all from my New Arrival cartridge. I sent this sample to Dana and here's what she had to say;

"The card looks GREAT!!! I'm SO looking forward to getting them in the mail, hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. I'm excited to see them in person :)"

I love when I get a response like that!! So, I'm off to finish up the thank you's and get them in the mail. Have a great night!

Flutter By Wednesday # 99 - "Beautiful" & An Inspirational Photo!

Good morning! Can you believe next week will be Danni's 100th FBW post!!! Wowee!! And guess what!? It's Wednesday and time for another Flutter By Wednesday challenge! This one is alot of fun! Danni chose an inspirational photo for us to use and isn't Tink just super cute?? I actually did this 9x9 layout last year for my daughter and I asked Danni if it was ok that I cheated a little so I could showcase it again! I think it deserves that! I absolutely LOVE the 9x9 "Simply Snapshots" pages by CTMH. They are SO easy to use. So, without further 'ado', here is my inspiration for this week's challenge. I hope you love it as much as I (and my daughter!) do!

Be sure to flutter over to Flutter By Wednesday to be inspired by the rest of the DT and while you're there, be sure to link a direct link in Mister Linky to YOUR fun creation! Can't wait to see what you come up with!! Remember, you have to have a butterfly, fairy or an angel on your project!!

For This Project, I Used:
  • CTMH 9x9 Butterfly kit (expired)
  • CRICUT "Tinkerbell and Friends" cartridge (she's cut at 4")
  • Glitter (wings)
  • Pop Dots for Tinkerbell

Project Tuesday - CD Holder, Minnie style!

Good morning!! It's time for another Project Tuesday challenge! This week, Cindy Burgess challenged us to make a CD Holder. This one was nice and easy to put together. I didn't have any velcro strips though, so I lightly adhered a pc of pop up sticky tape. I used my Cricut "Mickey and Friends" to do Minnie and she's cut at 4". The flowers are from the same cartridge. I added my son's CD in there to show you the inside.

Check out my daughter's creation here! She did a great job!

Be sure to hop on over to Project Tuesday to be inspired by the rest of the DT and be sure to leave your creation in Mister Linky while you're there!
