Today's the last day of public school here in Ontario. Ashleigh's teacher is a music teacher above all and I thought this would be a perfect card for her. The image is Digi Darla's "Life Is Like A Piano" and I thought the charm was a perfect addition!

LMCB #94 - Sketch Time!

It's a new challenge at Lasting Memories!! Before we get to that, if you joined us last week, be sure to check LM to see if you're a winner!!!! Now for this weeks challenge, we are using a sketch this week!!

I LOVED working with this one - if anyone knows where it's from, PLS let us know so we can pass on the credit!!! I manipulated a little to compensate my photo and so happy with the outcome!! This was a pic from our Disney trip in 2007. I still have to add the journalling but wanted to get this posted.

Child's Play - "Sidewalk Chalk"

This week at Child's Play, it's all about "Sidewalk Chalk"!! I was excited when I saw this one as I remembered I had a few pics I hadn't ever printed off from a few yrs ago, spring 2007. I had my niece and nephew for the day so my 2 took them and got them playing with sidewalk chalk and they had so much fun!! I'm just happy to get these all on paper!

LMCB #92 - "Sweatin' To The Oldies!"

Better late than never, right? Here's my LO for this weeks challenge at Lasting Memories where we're "Sweatin' To The Oldies" with a twist! It has to be a summer song from the 50's to the 70's!! I found these pics from a cottage vacation my sister and her family took our kid's on a few yrs ago and thought it was perfect and the song that immediately popped in my head (because of the title) was "Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay" - written by Otis Redding and Steve Cropper - lyrics as recorded by Otis Redding December 7, 1967, just three days before his death in a plane crash outside Madison, Wisconsin - #1 for 4 weeks in 1968

For my card, I used Digi Darla's "Windmill Birdhouse" and I printed 2x's on kraft CS and cut out the windmill on the second and adhered with a small brad so it actually spins. The sentiment is also Digi Darla's and is our "Play & Win" image for this week!!

Our son turns 16 today!! Where does the time go?? Here's a card I made for him using My Memories Suite .. I LOVE how this turned out and even Andrew thought it was cool!!! Have a great day all!

Thank You Card using MMS!

I've been asked to make my cousin's baby shower thank you's for next wknd and she needed 35. I had this idea pop in my head a couple weeks ago and LOVE how this turned out!! I faded the background photo and shadowed Alyssa's photo and all the embellishments. Yes, it's done using My Memories Suite!! Once they're all printed, they'll be matted on both black/pink CS and adhered to card with a pink ribbon/bow running up the folded side of card.
