FBW #200 - A Fond Farewell to FBW!

FBW #199 - We're "Casing" & A Sad Goodbye

Hey everyone!! It's Wednesday and time for another FBW challenge!! Thank you all so much for joining us last week. You inspire us as much as we inspire you. Recently, Danni made a very hard decision in regards to Flutter By Wednesday. Next week will mark Flutter By Wednesday's 200th challenge and it will also be the last challenge. Danni, you've been a truly inspiring person and become a wonderful friend. FBW was my very first design team and I remember waiting to hear back whether I made the team or not. Was an exciting time. Recently, I was asked whether I would like to come back and I was more than happy to return. The DT is so inspiring, talented and most important .. friends. You've done well Danni and you should be very proud of yourself. Thank you for choosing me and giving me this opportunity and well, thank you for everything. Good luck on your next adventure. FBW will be missed!

 This week is actually a really fun challenge, we're 'casing' Danni's very first FBW card!!!

And here's my take on this weeks challenge!! I've never 'cased' a card before!! I had to flip mine at the end because my image was too big to fit the other way. I really enjoyed this challenge!!

FBW#198 - Birthday Time!

Hello and guess what! It's Wednesday and time for a new challenge at Flutter By Wednesday!! Thank you all so much for joining us last week!! You're all so creative!! This week we're challenging you to make a birthday card using a butterfly, fairy or an angel. I actually struggled with this one - I know, you're thinking "SERIOUSLY?" It's a birthday card!! I know! I had 3 different ideas in my head and well, in the end, after tossing this and that, I came up with this one. The little chipboard die's are from "Pepper & Friends". Adorable right?

FBW #196 - "Wishing You A Fairy Good Day!"

Good morning!! It's another challenge at Flutter By Wednesday today!! All your creations were amazing last week, thanks for sharing them with us! This week we are doing another card drive for a organization that Flutter By Team Member, Nancy, has been working with. You can read all about "Butterfly Kisses Care Baskets" at the FBW blog. Our challenge this week is to create a Get Well/Thinking of You/Keep Fighting card using your butterfly, fairy or angel and please consider sending it in to Butterfly Kisses. I thought my sentiment fit in there pretty good and my card is designed using My Memories Suite!! I LOVE this kit! I got it FREE!! For this weeks card, I chose to get into My Memories Suite and see what I could create. I love this! I will be printing it out and adding to an A2 card and sending off to someone special. FBW #194 - We're Teaming Up With "Send A Smile 4 Kids" This Week!

Good morning!! It's Wednesday and that means a new challenge at Flutter By Wednesday's!! Our challenge this week is to create a card for a child using a butterfly, fairy or angel. We're teaming up with Send A Smile 4 Kid's. For my card today, I chose Karen's Doodles "Baby Chick". I couldn't resist!! I added lots of fun flock to my little chick and then I covered the egg in liquid glass. The rest is colored with Lyra's. Of course, I had to add a little butterfly to finish it off. I'm very happy with it and I hope it will make a little one smile!!

FBW # 191 - "Fluttering By To Say Hi!"

Good morning!! It's Wednesday and that means a brand new challenge at Flutter By Wednesdays today!! First off, thank you all so much for joining us last week. Wow, there was SO much inspiration and I loved seeing everyone's take on our "Anything With Wings" challenge!! For this week, we're back to making sure you have a butterfly, fairy or angel on your creation AND we're using this inspirational photo!! Is this not GORGEOUS!!!

And here's what I created. CTMH came out with this super cute stamp and as soon as I seen it, I HAD to have it and thought it was PERFECT for FBW challenges!! I love it!!! I chose to use the colors within the photo as my inspiration. I was going to add flowers, but when all was said and done, I thought it would have been to much. It's hard to see here, but I cut out the tree top and popped it up. I also sponged the background with CTMH "Heavenly Blue" and "Garden Green" for the sky/land. The tree, butterfly and sentiment are all included in the one stamp.

Flutter By Wednesday # 189 - L O V E Spells Love

Good morning!! Thank you all for joining us last week! So much talent and inspiration out there!!! This weeks challenge at FBW is a fun one!!

L= 2 or more layers (I layered the paper borders as well as the photo's)
O= odd number of embellishments (I have 7 embellishments)
V= use the color violet (2 of the Christmas balls have violet in them)
E= use any color except red (TRY doing this when you're doing a Christmas layout!!! I did it!)

How fun right?? Just don't forget your butterfly, fairy or angel!!! Here's what I created!! I used 2 angels on my layout. This is our real "Family Tree" that Ashleigh decorated. It's full of all our special decorations both given to us, made for us and passed down. A lot of memories on this tree. We now have 2 trees each yr - one real and one fake and we love it!!!

Good morning friends!! I have some exciting news!! I've been asked to (re)join the Flutter By Wednesday DT! I was so excited when Danni asked me if I would like to join the DT!! FBW was my very first DT experience and I'm super happy to be back - thank you Danni and to the FBW team for such a warm welcome!! I have been playing around with digital and PSE9, having a little fun with the coloring. I couldn't wait to get playing around with this image (Bugaboo's "Ava Flowers") and I'm going to send this to my grandma. It looks a lot like a little doll I used to play with and when I was little - she had a "dolly hospital" where she would fix my dolls up. I colored up my image in PSE9 and then uploaded to My Memories Suite and created a 5x7 card! I love it!!
