Friends...

Good morning! Well, the fall is definately here in Ontario. You don't know what's coming...rain, sun, wind...it's all over the place. My inlaws left for Florida last week and will be gone for 6 wks. I envy them! My sister is having an Avon Open House this mth and she asked if I would like to sell some cards as well, so I've been working on some to take over. This is a Sarah Kay image from my friend Tanya. I thought she was just adorable. The card is actually from a 6x6 Pre-Embossed Card Kit at Michaels. I used "Holiday Red" to run over the card. Hope everyone has a great day today!

Friendship

Can you tell that I absolutely LOVE this little girl? She's just adorable. This one I decided to do a friendship theme. The card is from a kit at Michaels, you get 16 pre-embossed cards in a box with envelopes and again, I colored her with my lyra's, mineral spirits and I ran my CTMH Orange ink pad across the card to showcase the embossing. Inside sentiment is from CTMH "Special Friendship" and says, "I thank the heavens above for a friend like you"

If Friends Were Flowers...

Good morning! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter wknd! I didn't get alot done as it was a busy wknd and we had my brother here all wknd as well, but I did manage to color my first little hedgehogs! This stamp is so darn cute and thanks to my friend Tanya, for letting me stamp it! I had fun doing this one. Inside sentiment reads "If friends were flowers, I'd pick you!"

Hope you like it to!

Hello Dear Friend

It's time for another Bellarific Friday challenge!! This week we were given the photo below and what a pretty color scheme! Now that I see the 2 pics together, I think my one color is off. Oh well, I've sent it in and still very happy with it. I can see how much I've grown in the last while, so that's good!! I've started trying new things and not being afraid to go outside of my box. I love this card!!!

The card is a 6x6" and I used the paper from CTMH "Key To My Heart" paper pack, the stamp is from the KETTO line at Stamping Bella, I used 'Sorbet', 'Juniper', 'Tulip' and 'Creme Brulee' CTMH ink as well as a large circle scallop punch, heart punch, valentine's lace edge punch and for coloring, I used a water brush with the ink pads!

Hope you like it....pls leave a comment and let me know what you think. If you're not sure how, it's very easy! If you scroll down under this post you'll see 'comments', click there and another window opens and you'll see a box that say's 'Leave Your Comment'. Type your comment in the box and scroll down and you'll see 'Name/URL', click there and just type your name and enter! VOILA! You've left me a comment!!

Or you can just email me and I can add it under your name..lol!!

If Friends Were Flowers...

Are you sick of Stamping Bella stamps yet? I didn't think so! LOL! They truly are my newfound favourites. This one here is called 'best friends forevah' and the sentiment inside says 'if friends were flowers, i'd pick you'. How cute is that????

Materials Used:
  • CTMH 'Unforgettable' lv 2 paper pack and stickease
  • Cuttlebug 'Divine Swirls' embossing folder
  • CTMH prisma glitter
  • CTMH watercolor pencils/blending pen
  • dollarama flowers
  • brad from michaels

I just wanted to show you how adding a little distressing, can really change a card! All I did was using a sanding block, ran it over the raised cuttlebug embossed area and look what happens! You get a whole new look! Make sure your paper is white core when doing this technique to get the full affect!
