"Just Wanted To Say"

Good morning! This past weekend my family had 2 birthdays and this is one of the cards that I made for my Aunt, who turned 65 and looks amazing!! When I did this card up, the colors - everything - just called her name. I added a little 'coupon' inside good for lunch or dinner as well. The image is a Magnolia .. the paper is Bo Bunny (love those sunflowers!!) and the chipboard/stamp is from CTMH!

Good morning! Happy Birthday wishes to my friend, Carrie! Here's a card I put together for her last night. I used my friend Kelli's magnolia and the cards I found at Michaels. I then used my SU! border punch and added a pc of black CS on the inside. The sentiments are both CTMH and the ink inside is also from SU!

A Little Magnolia....

I've been thinking the last while about moving my craft room to the spare room. Well, yesterday it hit me and away I went!! When we were in here, the pc room, it got a little crowded when someone was on here and Ash and I were scrapbooking. Well, I worked super hard yesterday and moved everything upstairs. Ash and I now have our own table and you would have laughed super hard to see Andrew and I trying to get this big HEAVY desk up there!! It took forever and alot of sweat and laughter, but we did it!! It looks awesome and I'm so happy. I even left a little corner for playing so I can have the daycare kids in there and just close the door if I have something I need to do. So, last night, I decided to work on a couple cards. Here's one! This is a little Magnolia I stamped from my friend Kelli. It's a birthday card, but those who's birthday's are in January will have to wait and see!!

If Friend's Were Flowers...Just Magnolia Week #17

Meet Edwin! This week over at the Just Magnolia challenge blog, we had a sketch to follow! I had alot of fun with this one. Thank you to my mom for lending me her FIRST Magnolia to stamp! You can see some of her work here, on our club blog. I used a Stampin' Up stamp to do my background on the red paper and then I used CTMH "With Love" to do the flowers for Edwin to smell. (yes, I know, he's KISSING Edwin, but I have no one for him to kiss yet! LOL)

Simon Says - Summer Fruits!

The challenge over at Simon Says Stamp this week is SUMMER FRUITS or SUMMER FRUIT COLORS! This is my first time coloring this apple basket and I really had fun with it! I am really happy with how it turned out. I embossed the card with "Swiss Dots" and then I colored with my lyra's and OMS and added some glitter to the handle and the apples as well. Just a touch adds a lot! This is also my first time using my (very first set!) nestabilities and I am IN LOVE! More to add to my ever growing stamping addiction! I sponged around the image with CTMH "Crystal Blue" ink. Thank you to my friend, Christine, for letting me stamp this image!

Tilda With Flowers - High Hopes Stamps Challenge # 39

Good morning!! I thought this little Tilda might bring some sunshine here in Ontario. We are still waiting for our summer temps! I did this for the High Hopes Stamps Challenge #39, "Upsy Daisy" and we had to include daisy's on our card and if we don't have any, we could use any white flower. So I went with my white embroidered flowers from CTMH. I colored her with lyra's and OMS and added some CTMH "Crystal Blue" ink around my image. There's also some glitter on her flowers, but I don't think you can see it well. The paper is CTMH "Tickled Pink", which is NLA as it was a campaign. I really hope they come out with a paper pack in the fall catty! Thank you to my friend, Christine, for letting me stamp this image.

I've been trying to enter different challenges to keep my stock up and then I am going to buy something to organize all my cards and I'd like to start sending one to my grandma once every couple weeks. Sunshine and Smiles...

My FIRST magnolia card!! I had SO much fun doing this card! I stamped her from my friend, Christine's, stamp and then got really creative and had her swinging from a tree! The butterflies are from CTMH March SOTM "Butterfly Wings", the tree branch is from my cricut "Graphically Speaking" cart and the sentiment is another (retired) CTMH stamp set. I love this card!!!!!!!!! Thanks Christine for letting me stamp your Tilda!
