Good morning!! We have a new challenge at Lasting Memories this week and another giveaway too!!! We have a color challenge this week and this is what I came up with for mine. I am loving this digital software because it actually said "Happy Birthday" on it and I changed it to "Sisters". Can you imagine doing that with traditional?? Nope!! This is a pic from Saturday night at my sister and her hubby's 30th birthday party. She won't turn 30 till close to Christmas - but they wanted to celebrate together and Dec is just SO busy!!

Hello from the sunny south!! Today we have a new challenge at Lasting Memories - Using the word "Cherish" on your LO and show us someone or someTHING that you cherish the most! I had a minute last night to sit and do a digital LO for this week's challenge and came up with this one. A couple pics from our vacation. Having a great time, although the weather's been a little up and down - wearing sweaters in Florida NOT COOL as my son says! LOL! We had a friend move in at home, so life is good there but I hear it's cold. Yuck. I don't want to head home. Anyway, have a boo at the other LO's by my very talented DT and hope you can join us!! Summertime Friends

Evening friends! Michele on my LMCB DT told me I should check out this new challenge blog called "Paper Lovin' Gals" AND they're having a DT call, which Michele told me about to! So, this is my entry for this weeks challenge. Can you believe it took me 10-15 min's to put this together!? And NO mess! LOVE it! Yes, another MyMemories digi layout! This was a couple summers ago, might even be 3 now that I think about it, Ashleigh and Briana at a friend's cottage. We spent the wknd and the girl's were inseparable. The days of summer huh? Fishing for Chippy - Yes, a Chipmunk!!

Hey friends! So, today's LO is one of my favorite memories of this vacation. We had this little chipmunk that kept coming around and scoping out peanuts. Well, I don't know where Ashleigh got this idea, likely her dad, but they tied a peanut to a fishing rod and Ashleigh went "Chipmunk Fishing"!! She had a blast and you know, that little chippy played right along with her for hours that day! He would take the peanut, she would reel him in, he would scamper away and on and on. As you can see, later in the day, they were nose to nose. No animal nor child was hurt in any way on this vacation! I have a couple more pics, I just have to find them so I can do the corresponding layout. Have a great day!

Norland Heights Resort - Family Vacation

Evenin' all!! I'm actually having a quiet night, for once, so I got in here to play and catch up some more. I can't wait to get all these LO's back!! They're being sent in on Friday for printing. I've done a great job getting caught up and loving this software!! Yep, another MyMemories!!! Check it out by clicking the little logo to your right - top of my blog!! You won't be sorry. So, this is a 2 pg spread from a family vacation back in 2003. I can't believe how much the kid's have grown. In the first one, my guys are on the left (3 and 7), then my dad and in the lower corner, my nephew Hayden (about 6 weeks here I think) and he's now 8!! I have more coming, so please check back soon! The Days We Treasure

YAY! I am DONE a whole set of pics from our fishing trip! This is the last of them. I did 6 LO's and I love them all. Can't wait to get everything printed now. Amazing really, when you look at these pics, how small the kid's were once and Andrew would let us take his pic. Now it's a fight most of the time, but I just go in stealth mode, lol, and get what I want!! Have a great day!

Good morning and welcome to another Lasting Memories challenge! This week we're asking you to use this sketch AND fall colors!!

I almost goofed (and keep in mind, these are MY challenges!! LOL!) and forgot to use fall colors! So I actually have this done twice!! I have been doing a lot of digital and find it's such an easy way to get caught up on all those pics that we have sitting on CD's. Here's another LO I did using MyMemories and it's some more pics from a family wedding a few years back!! This is the original one before I realized I had to use fall colors!! Thank God for digital on this LO!! I just went back and changed the colors. So, which do you like better?? I like the one below .. it really shows the colors in Ashleigh's dress more. Love to hear your thoughts!!

Best Friends

As our kid's get older, sometimes I wonder if they even care the other exists!! I know, deep down, they certainly do, but they also go through stages of "I wish is was just me" and "Oh, (s)he is making me SOOO mad!!!!" among other things. BUT if something happens to either one .. it's all forgotten and the "protective" part comes out. One of the things I LOVE about this photo is the innocence of 2 siblings without a care in the world but their painting and eachother. This is why I love photography. Enjoy your day today!

The Worth Of Memories

Memories

Hi all!! I did some ride practicing this morning and then came home and felt like doing a layout. I'm going to enter this one in a couple challenges. The photo's are from July 2003 and Grandma has since passed. I found these photo's on a CD and thought they should be scrapbooked!!! Hope everyone is having a great Sat. LMCB # 53 - Inspiration

Morning! I'm a day late, but we have a new challenge at Lasting Memories this week! We're asking you to show us who or what inspires you the most. For me, my entire family inspires me in many different ways, my photo's inspire me .. I have a lot of inspiration in my life. I chose to do a digital scrapbook using MyMemories to show my husband and children who inspire me each and every day to be the best that I can be. To be the best mom/wife/friend. Sometimes we wonder if we're making the right decisions and choices but for me, when I question that, I just look around me and know I'm doing the best I can. If I could scrapbook my entire family, I would. Hmmm, might have to do an "Inspiration" album.
