So Blessed To Have Friends Like You

Good morning friends!! I don't have a creation today, but I wanted to share some cards I recently received from blogger friends. I feel very blessed to have such wonderful friends!!

This one is from Danni. We were sent a stamp to work with on one of our FBW challenges and Danni sent us each a gorgeous card as well. Isn't this gorgeous??

Now onto 3 more amazing cards from my Lasting Memories DT members. We thought it would be a really nice idea to send a card to the name above us in our yahoo group and I was so surprised to receive THREE! With all I've been dealing with, losing my grandma recently, they couldn't have come at a better time.

FBW #196 - "Wishing You A Fairy Good Day!"

Good morning!! It's another challenge at Flutter By Wednesday today!! All your creations were amazing last week, thanks for sharing them with us! This week we are doing another card drive for a organization that Flutter By Team Member, Nancy, has been working with. You can read all about "Butterfly Kisses Care Baskets" at the FBW blog. Our challenge this week is to create a Get Well/Thinking of You/Keep Fighting card using your butterfly, fairy or angel and please consider sending it in to Butterfly Kisses. I thought my sentiment fit in there pretty good and my card is designed using My Memories Suite!! I LOVE this kit! I got it FREE!! DDC #6 - We're Bursting With BUTTONS & A Giveaway!!!

LMCB #81 - "We're Layering It Up" this week!!

Thank you so much for joining us last week at Lasting Memories!! It's time for a new challenge and this week, we're "Layering It Up"!! What do you love to layer up on your layouts? Paper, flowers, embellishments??? I absolutely LOVE to layer up my CTMH flip flaps!! As my friends can tell you, I use them whenever and wherever I can. I love that I can add more and more photo's on a pg without cluttering up my page. The bottom photo is done with flip flaps and I was able to add 4 extra photo's this way!!

LMCB #80 - "Pawsitively" Sweet!

Happy Sunday everyone! Time for a new challenge at Lasting Memories. This week we're asking you to show off your pets, zoo or animal pics!! Of course, I chose our boys. I LOVE that paw print one - that's one BIG paw!! When we brought Riley home and had a peek at those paws we knew then he was going to be huge and he is!! He's about 140 and Bud's about 85 or so. I used Digi Darla's "Happy Bearday" for my project today. My card is a 6x6 and I colored my image with copics (this is my FIRST completed image!!!) I've popped him up off the page, but it's hard to see. I'm happy with how it all turned out though!!

When I was getting ready for our Feb retreat, I came across these pics of Andrew from his 11th birthday. He turns 16 in June!! A little behind!! So here's a couple layouts I put together from his 11th birthday party. He had a couple friends over for a pool party.

FBW #194 - We're Teaming Up With "Send A Smile 4 Kids" This Week!

Good morning!! It's Wednesday and that means a new challenge at Flutter By Wednesday's!! Our challenge this week is to create a card for a child using a butterfly, fairy or angel. We're teaming up with Send A Smile 4 Kid's. For my card today, I chose Karen's Doodles "Baby Chick". I couldn't resist!! I added lots of fun flock to my little chick and then I covered the egg in liquid glass. The rest is colored with Lyra's. Of course, I had to add a little butterfly to finish it off. I'm very happy with it and I hope it will make a little one smile!!

"It's A Dog's Life"

Good morning!! I have been meaning to show you all the layouts I completed at our Feb retreat. This is a 2 page LO I did on our dogs, Buddy (2) and Riley (3). I happened to have a pc of the paper with all the words on it, so I cut it and was able to use it on both pages. The letters are Kraft Corkboard from CTMH.
