Non-Traditional Christmas Card

Just before I left on vacation, I did a blog hop at High Hopes and won!! I got to choose 2 (awesome!) stamps of my choice! This weeks challenge at High Hopes is to create a Non-Traditional Christmas Colours creation and here's what I came up with using my new goodies!! I'd say this is pretty non-traditional!

Be Mine Or I'll Croak!

"Be Mine Or I'll Croak" ... How's that for a masculine Valentine? LOL! I LOVE this little guy. He's from High Hopes and called "Froggy Gift" I think he is just so cute! The sentiment is from High Hopes as well and matches perfect, don't ya think? So, I colored him up with my lyra's and OMS and then added some Prisma chalk around him. I followed this week's sketch challenge over at Mojo Monday. The hearts are from a Martha Stewart Valentine punch. I'm entering this in 2 challenges this week:

"You're One In A Melon!" High Hopes Challenge #50 - All About Kids!

This week's challenge at High Hopes is "All About Kids!" I finally had a chance to get out my new (untouched) stamps from High Hopes and play!! They're all so cute, I had a hard time choosing which one to use. This one is called "Summer's Sweetness". I got the pattern idea from my CTMH "Wishes" Card book, a must have for all you card makers out there!! The paper is from 2 different CTMH paper packs...

And the embellishments are all CTMH as well!

Happy Birthday To High Hopes & FBW #77!

I want to send out a big thank you to my friend, Tanya, for letting me stamp this image! I'm entering this card in 2 challenges:

1. This is my first time entering High Hopes Challenges and this week's is Happy Birthday!
2. Flutter By Wednesday - Create a card with a butterfly or fairy and either the color sapphire or bling in sapphire! (I'm hoping this color qualifies!)

For this card, I used a pattern from CTMH "Originals Card Confidence" book and then colored it in with lyra's and OMS. I added some glitter to her wings, fun flock to the kitty and the puppy's paws and then I also added a little glaze on the butterfly, turtle shell and parrot's belly. A little of everything in this one! The paper is from CTMH.

Tilda With Flowers - High Hopes Stamps Challenge # 39

Good morning!! I thought this little Tilda might bring some sunshine here in Ontario. We are still waiting for our summer temps! I did this for the High Hopes Stamps Challenge #39, "Upsy Daisy" and we had to include daisy's on our card and if we don't have any, we could use any white flower. So I went with my white embroidered flowers from CTMH. I colored her with lyra's and OMS and added some CTMH "Crystal Blue" ink around my image. There's also some glitter on her flowers, but I don't think you can see it well. The paper is CTMH "Tickled Pink", which is NLA as it was a campaign. I really hope they come out with a paper pack in the fall catty! Thank you to my friend, Christine, for letting me stamp this image.

"Make A Wish" - HHC #37 - Stars or Stripes!

This is a card I put together for this week's High Hopes Challenge. The card is 8 x 3.5". I wanted to try doing a card with no stamps at all, just embellishments. I think I'll put this away for my nephews birthday in July! ALL product is CTMH!
