Hello! I know, I'm late - but it's worth it :) We have a new challenge at Lasting Memories this week called "Tell Me A Story" and I have just the perfect LO for this challenge, but had to wait till I got home from a much needed weekend away with my daughter and mom who was able to come last minute! Another page for my St Jacobs album! This was a scene we spied from the road and it amazed us how every farm we seen was a working farm and boy, do they work hard. If you look close, there's a little boy working right along side dad in the top photo. "Everyday Life" and this quote seemed to be a fitting title for this LO.

Now on to today's LO! Yep, another from St Jacobs! I had to take photo's of our breakfast each morning - yes, some may say goofy, but my goodness, this was divine! We chose from a menu for both mornings and then we also had fresh fruit and fresh baking as well. Incredible, especially that fluffy cheese omelette which is why it's the star of this LO!! YUMMY!

Here's a couple more pages I put together for my St Jacobs album - I'm really having fun making this one and this kit is fabulous! You can purchase it HERE! If you haven't seen my other pages to this album, start HERE! One of the things that I found fascinating was the Mennonite horse and buggies. They all had their reflective triangle, which I was happy to see. On Sunday morning, we heard hundreds going by heading to church. We didn't hear them travel back home till well after dark. Just so calming hearing the clip clop of the horses. The second LO here showcases a couple more 'road trip' pics!!

My aunt and I took a road trip to St Jacobs, which is Amish/Mennonite Country and we had an amazing time and stayed at a little B&B called "By The River". Here's a layout showcasing the photo's I took right from our little back deck. The scenery was incredible and you could hear the river rapids and wildlife.

Here's some more digital layouts from our trip to St Jacobs. Check out my first 2 right here that start the trip! This was truly home away from home and our Host, Heather, was a wonderful person as was her husband and son that we met. The cabin is actually attached to the main house but you wouldn't know it. You hear nothing whatsoever and even in the back yard you were private and didn't see them. We absolutely loved that deck. Be sure to come by tmw as I have some gorgeous views to show you! Cya then!

My Trip To St. Jacobs

Hey all! Wow, another hot one coming in today and over the wknd!! What an amazing summer, although better for some than others. So, August brings a new Designer Highlight at RAKscraps and being on the Creative Team, we get to work with the kit! I've started my St Jacobs trip album and here's a couple pages with more to come!! This was my first trip to St Jacobs and we stayed at "By The River" B&B which was fantastic and we're looking to go again in Sept!! The photo's on the site not watermarked with "BBCanada..." are actually mine!
