LM #148 - Country Charm

Hi everyone!! Happy Sunday! Our challenge at Lasting Memories this week is "Country Charm"! We're challenging you to use country colours (could be a country palette OR your countries colours) AND we want to see a charm on there to! I went a little further and went with a whole country aura. These are photos from when my daughter took riding lessons 2 yrs ago. Unfortunately, after a bad experience with the teacher and being thrown twice, she's done riding for the time being. She was a natural though, so I really hope one day she'll go back to it.

LMCB #73 - "We're Trashin' Our Layouts" this week!

Hey All!! It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at Lasting Memories!! Bet my post title had you thinking, "What the heck is she talking about?" We're asking you to use your 'trash' on your layouts this week. Scraps of paper, ribbon, old stickers..whatever it is, if it's scraps, it's perfect for this week's challenge! I try to keep my paper scraps with the corresponding paper, so when I finally chose my pics for this LO, I dug out my CTMH "Sasparilla" paper and here's all the scraps I had!!! (note that circle as you'll see it on my layout)

Here's what I came up with! Can you pick out the pieces from my scraps? I also had some tiny bits and pieces of flax around, so I pierced the little stars and sewed them. That black ribbon was actually in my trash bin for some reason, so out it came!! What do ya think??
