LM #182 - Shades of Green

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Lasting Memories and this week, Claire has challenged us to use "Shades of Green" on our layouts and she wants to see at least 75% green! I've been working away on some layouts, I am NOT a chronological scrapper by all means! I am all over the place. This layout is Ashleigh holding my niece, who is turning 5 in April lol, but the point is, I am getting them done and in albums, right?

We're embossing at Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenge this week! We are being sponsored by Bugaboo and I chose to showcase "Fancy Umbrellas - Umbrella 1". I wanted to play around with digital embossing filters, so I colored my image in PSE9 and then played around with the filters in there. I took the sentiment from Rhianna :)

DSC #79 ''Black, White & one other Color"

Morning! Time for a new challenge at Digitally Sweet! This week we're sponsored by Luna Girl (LOVE her stuff) and we were given a bunch of images to choose from to showcase. Our challenge is to create a project using black, white and only ONE other colour. I chose these 3 images and the colour of the matting, I pulled from her lips. The music background is also one of LunaGirls images. One winner will win all the images we had to play with! I think this turned out pretty good and hopefully you'll be inspired to join us!

I did my 100% digital LO in MMS v5, then uploaded into my Microsoft Digital Imaging software and added a "Watercolour Traditonal" filter to it. Thanks for stopping by today!

BIG Bang at Digi Darla's

As you know, yesterday Digi Darla Designs closed her doors. We are still running the challenge blog and this week we need your help. We want to show Kim and Emilea how much we love and appreciate them for their hard work and dedication. I started Digi Darla's Challenge 2 yrs ago to help Kim promote her store. So, with the doors closing, it only seemed fit to close down DDC as well. We thought about revamping it and decided as a team we were taking it out with a "BIG Bang". We have lots of prizes to give away and we hope you'll join us. If you have a digi darla image, we'd love to see it. Don't have one but want to join? I created a birthday party invitation, which is 100% digital. I added the inspiration photo as my background and played with the opacity to make it a little lighter. I'm happy with the outcome.

Ribbons and Bows!

Morning everyone! We have a new challenge at Suzy Bee's: Buttons and Bows and we're being sponsored by Stitchy Bear! For my creation, I used "Butter Blue". I coloured my image and then scanned to my computer. Then I created the card front in my digital software and uploaded my image :) So it has my personal touch (colouring) as well! Funny thing though - I went to upload it and realized I had completely over looked the theme! Great thing with digital, I went back and added the ribbons and bows and resaved!

LM #180 - Alpha Wars

Hi everyone! Better late than never! We have a challenge going on at LM this week called "Alpha Wars" which means we want to see lots of fonts and alphabets on your pages. Die cuts, stickers .. here's my LO for this challenge, which is from my dad's 60th bday a yr ago January :)

It's a Masculine challenge at Suzy Bee's!

Hi everyone!! This week at Suzy Bee's challenge, we're challenged to make a "Masculine" project and we're sponsored by Stitchy Bear. We were given some images to work with and I chose to showcase "tiger" today. I had a completely different idea in my head but time got away from me so this is 100% digital and I actually really like it. Now I just have to print and add to a card and it's done!
