Good morning! Well, the fall is definately here in Ontario. You don't know what's coming...rain, sun, wind...it's all over the place. My inlaws left for Florida last week and will be gone for 6 wks. I envy them! My sister is having an Avon Open House this mth and she asked if I would like to sell some cards as well, so I've been working on some to take over. This is a Sarah Kay image from my friend Tanya. I thought she was just adorable. The card is actually from a 6x6 Pre-Embossed Card Kit at Michaels. I used "Holiday Red" to run over the card. An Announcement!

Good morning! I am THRILLED to announce that I have been asked by Jennifer Meyer, to be a Guest Designer on Project Tuesday for the month of October!! Today's challenge is to create a Pop Up Gift Card. For my project, I chose to use Carl the Cupcake, which you can find here. The paper is CTMH "Bella" and I used liquid glass and glitter to do the icing. I also used a glaze pen on his eyes, freckles, nose and shoes! This week also kicks off sneak peaks of Stamps and Smiles new release! "This whole week, you will see samples using each of the five NEW stamp sets!! 1 Fall set and 4 Winter sets. We also have posted four fun challenges and a few games for you to play along with. Feel free to use your favorite stamps and supplies." Happy World Card Making Day, and a card for Paige

Happy World Card Making Day my friends! I hope everyone has had a productive day. I did, managed to get our pool closed (so sad), leaves and lawn done and now it's time for me to get creative. I went to check out one of my MANY favourite challenge blogs, Simon Says Stamp, and they are having a 24 hour challenge today, which you can find here. Here is a little piece from today's entry "We are dedicating this challenge to Paige a 13 year old girl who was badly injured in an accident recently. We are asking you to make GIRLY CARD and send it to Paige."

Please pop on over there to read Paige's story. She's one couragious 13 yr old girl and very inspiring, I thought the sentiment was perfect. So, I made this card for Paige and I'll be putting it in the mail on Monday.

Happy Birthday To High Hopes & FBW #77!

I want to send out a big thank you to my friend, Tanya, for letting me stamp this image! I'm entering this card in 2 challenges:

1. This is my first time entering High Hopes Challenges and this week's is Happy Birthday!
2. Flutter By Wednesday - Create a card with a butterfly or fairy and either the color sapphire or bling in sapphire! (I'm hoping this color qualifies!)

For this card, I used a pattern from CTMH "Originals Card Confidence" book and then colored it in with lyra's and OMS. I added some glitter to her wings, fun flock to the kitty and the puppy's paws and then I also added a little glaze on the butterfly, turtle shell and parrot's belly. A little of everything in this one! The paper is from CTMH.

Love Always...

This is a wedding guest book that I put together for my Aunt Linda and Bill's upcoming wedding. It was actually alot of fun to do and not that hard. A HUGE thank you to Jennifer of Jennifer's Sweet Designs for this idea and for helping me with instructions.

I'm also going to enter this in the OCC Challenge this week, which is "Monochromatic Mania" My guestbook has different shades of green in it.
