TGIF!! Woot, it's holiday time for this gal! Off for 2 weeks and looking fwd to some good ole' R&R and family time!! We have a great challenge this week at Digitally Sweet - "Anything Goes" and we're being sponsored by Digi Darla Designs!

Morning! My son and his gf had a baby shower to attend and asked me to make the card and here's what I came up with. I love how it turned out and this image is just the cutest! I added funflock to the cloud to make it nice and fluffy. Coloured it up with my spectrum noir markers.

Hi there! Happy Sunday!! I know, it's the last day of the weekend but it's also a new challenge at Lasting Memories! This week it's all about "Christmas in July" which seems to be a popular theme around blogland! My layouts today are going back a few years, 7 to be exact!

Look at Ashleigh's eyes, they're HUGE! Almost as big as Andrew's smile because he got just what he wanted ... 

And here we were at 6:30am on Christmas morning! Gifts are done (eek!) and off he went riding! And see what he's wearing and if you really look, there was no snow that yr!!

Morning!! It's Sunday which means a new challenge at Lasting Memories! This week is all about 

The Birds and the Bees

DSC#45 - Sunshine & Summertime

I'm late! Ugh! Story of my life this summer lol it's just been so hot that crafting even takes to much energy! The storms are coming through now and it has cooled off considerable. Off with the AC and open up those windows!! We have a new challenge at Digitally Sweet today! We're all about "Sunshine and Summertime" with Template Dreams. Myself and Ali both used the same kit, "water everywhere" so be sure to see the different takes on it. I took these photos of our daughter a couple weeks ago on the beach by our house and absolutely love them. She looks so grown up (she'll be 13 in Oct) and so beautiful. This was the night of her friends Gr 8 graduation and we took advantage of it and had her hair done. Just a moment to treasure as she moves into her last year of public school in Sept. Hard to believe. Both our kids will graduate in a year! One from Gr 8 and the other from Gr 12!

LM #148 - Country Charm

Hi everyone!! Happy Sunday! Our challenge at Lasting Memories this week is "Country Charm"! We're challenging you to use country colours (could be a country palette OR your countries colours) AND we want to see a charm on there to! I went a little further and went with a whole country aura. These are photos from when my daughter took riding lessons 2 yrs ago. Unfortunately, after a bad experience with the teacher and being thrown twice, she's done riding for the time being. She was a natural though, so I really hope one day she'll go back to it.

I couldn't resist these photos my daughter took of herself a couple weeks ago. We went to her friends gr 8 graduation, so I took advantage of that and had her hair done and then did a little photo shoot down by the water. On the way home from the grad, she grabbed my camera and started snapping shots of herself. She certainly had fun!

Our challenge is "Precious Family" and I chose a family moment that's special to me. My birthday party at my sisters place a few yrs back! Family is super important to me and I just love these pages!
