LM #133 - Old Fashioned Photots

Good morning and Happy Easter!! We have an awesome challenge at LM this week - we're looking for "Old Fashioned Photos" this week. Don't worry, if you don't have any, take a recent one and turn it B&W or sepia - voila! Old fashioned :) Here's my LO for this week. I was given some old photos of family and this is one of the pages I put together. Even my dad's in one as a little tyke and omg - my brother and my nephew?? SPITTING IMAGES of my dad! Crazy!

Here's another birthday card that I made for my son's girlfriend, who turns 16 next Saturday :) I actually dug out my cuttlebug and Nestabilities! I thought it would be a neat touch to have her wings 'open' so cut them out a second time and attached them - the sentiment is from a new CTMH stamp set called "Scrapbook Statements - Poets .. Everyday Life" and I stamped onto CTMH canvas shapes

Happy Birthday ...

You know sometimes when you do something and when you're done, you think, "Oh my gosh, I (bold here!!) did that??" Well this is one of those moments for me. I sorted all my cards and I wanted to make some special birthday cards, so out came my copics and I went through one of my magazines and found a pattern to go by .. and I created this ..  

I always struggle with my copics, I just can't seem to get the knack of them. Well, I think it's just ppl I can't do bc this turned out so pretty. I added some chalk around my image to give it a little glittery shine and dug out some punches that have been neglected too long. "Happy Birthday" is stamped on a canvas shape (love these!!). My sentiment is from a new CTMH Stamp set called "Scrapbook Statements - Poets .. Everyday Life"

Clean and Simple (Aka CAS)

When I think of clean and simple, I don't think white on white or anything like that. I find it so hard not to have colour on my LO's. So here's my take on CAS - Another Sharbot Lake LO and I tell ya, hubby would not be a happy camper, but I LOVE this page! It's not often he'll let you take his pic :)

Digitally Sweet has a new challenge today! It's all about Spring and Pastel colours! It's spring here, but there's a bunch of white stuff on the ground still, so I decided to do some pics from last yr's Florida trip and added some pastel purple and spring colors. Need some help and who better to ask than my crafty friends! Blitsy has the entire set of Tim Holtz Distress markers on for $79.95 - first, is that a great deal? I'm not sure how much they are? Also, do you recommend them? I watched the video and I like what I see :) Just curious for some feedback - much appreciated, thank you!!!!
