LMCB#99 - "Mining For Silver"

Hi everyone!! Being on holidays, I haven't had a chance to play!! I've really been enjoying family time and hubby and I even got to get out this week for some alone time and lunch together. Was very nice!! Anyway, today's a new challenge at Lasting Memories! We're "Mining For Silver" this week and want to see silver somewhere on your layout. So, for my layout this week, I did another digital and used 2 photo's that Ashleigh took of me and our Bud (my best buddy!!). I added a silver brad, staple as well as there is silver in the photo's!! DDC#21 - Anything With Wheels

Good morning!! It's time for a new challenge at Digi Darla's! We're challenging you to "Anything With Wheels"! We're being sponsored by Digi Darla herself! Child's Play (July #4) - Watercolor

This week at Child's Play it's an "art supply" challenge - WATERCOLOR! Super fun and I knew this layout was perfect! Another layout using the adorable kit called "Silly Monkeyz" by DesignZ by DeDe!

Ashleigh spent the wknd with her grandma and one of the crafts was painting some feathers they found on the ground as well as rocks and stuff. They had a blast! Come on over and join the fun at Child's Play! We'll see you there!!

DDC#20 - "Animal Crackers" - Love You!

Good morning all!! We're rocking a new challenge at Digi Darla's today!! We're going "Animal Crackers"!!!! We're also being sponsored by Floppy Latte's Digital Designs!! I chose "Elephant Love" - isn't this adorable!! I printed him right onto light purple CS and then added some stickles for bling. The paper, bling and card is CTMH!

LMCB #97 - "Digging For Gold"

How cute is he, right?? Meet my (stinkin' cute) dad!! This week at Lasting Memories we're "Digging For Gold" and want to see GOLD on your layouts!! My paper has gold colouring and I added gold brads, hinges and there's gold 'stitching' on the letters. I have to confirm the grades and add those on later. My brother and nephew, OMGosh, look so much like my dad it's crazy. Quite the cutie isn't he .. yeah, ok, I'm a little biased :)

So, this weeks challenge is "Noah's Ark - 2x2" so we teamed up with a fellow DT, you know, to go with the whole 2x2 challenge!! (Great idea Denise!!!) and I teamed up with fellow DT - Michele!! We chose "Dino Lunch" from the June new releases and omgosh, I had a blast colouring this little guy! I coloured with copics and since it was printed on glitter paper, it has a nice shine to it. I used a border punch and for my '2x2' I added 2 cute little lizards!! What do ya think??

I think he's adorable! You have GOT to check out the rest of the DT work and play along with us this week! It does NOT have to be animal theme, but we DO need to see 2 of something on your creation! That's it!! Cya at Digi Darla's!

It's time for a new challenge at Lasting Memories!! This weeks challenge is "Dancing With Paws" - we want to see animals on your LO's this week. Super easy - Denise just came up with a cool title!! For my LO this week I went digital again and you can find this adorable kit right HERE

When Ashleigh was 3, we tried ballet - didn't make it all the way through though as I wasn't allowed in with her and she would get so upset it was just awful. So, 'dancing' and monkeys - I think this is pretty good for this weeks challenge! Not to mention, isn't she just too darn cute!!

This week at Lasting Memories, we're challenging you to use RED & WHITE or RED, WHITE & BLUE! I am very excited to have been chosen as part of the Creative Team at RAKscraps!!! I was given 2 kits to work with from our July Sponsor - DesignZ by DeDe - and this is from "Americana Bearz". I admit, I struggled a little since I am from Canada, but I love this kit and made it work for me! This is a photo from our retreat this past May. I have to be honest - I had a completely different idea in mind for this image but with it being a long wknd here, I've spent all wknd with my family and not crafting at all. It's been wonderful. So this is a digital card face which I can print and add to CS!!
