Enjoy The Journey
Today we are heading to my parents place and we're going to learn how to make my grandma's secret cabbage rolls. Dad's birthday was on Thursday, so this is going to be a celebration dinner and then we'll hang out for a few games and a visit. Hopefully. Our daughter has been sick since Thursday night, so it'll depend on how she feels! So, here's the card I made for dad...Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy Birthday To My Hubby!
Hello!! I'm a little late, but here's my take on this week's Project Tuesday challenge! We're asking you to make a gate fold card today. I decided to make mine into my hubby's b-day card as it's his 40th birthday today!! Happy Birthday Baby!! Not that he'll talk about it! LOL! So for my card, I used "Felicity" paper from CTMH, the image is from a Tim Holtz stamp and then sentiment and inside are from CTMH as well. I love how this turned out!! Now hop on over to PT to visit the rest of the DT and get ready to be inspired! I was!

Masculine Birthday Card
Morning! Here's a card I put together for my cousin to give to her friend. I used my Tim Holtz stamp set (vintage car) and a CTMH stamp for the sentiment. Paper is from Cosco.
Very rainy and cool here this morning, but according to the weather network, it'll be about 37* by this afternoon so I guess the AC stays on another day!! Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm back and it's time to "Celebrate"!
This is a card I made for my brother's birthday coming up in July. He just bought himself a new bike, so what better way to showcase the card, right?? The bike is a Cuttlebug Die and the "Celebrate" is from a CTMH stamp set.
I better get reorganized here, troops are on their way home! Have a great night!

Happy 13th Birthday, Andrew!
Good morning!
Today we're celebrating our son's 13th birthday. I cannot believe that 13 years ago today, I was on the phone with my aunt Linda, having mild contractions, while my family was up having lunch on our deck. I thought "No, this has to be BH contractions because Baby's not due for 2 weeks!" So, I never said a word. Then I realized, "uh oh, they're getting closer together and really starting to hurt...holy cow, I think I'm in labor!" So I told Keith and he said "How far are the contractions?" Please keep in mind, this is our first, we're about half hour from the hospital and we're enjoying a nice family lunch. I answer "Umm, we're about 3 min's apart now..." Well, I tell ya..everything started going a little crazy here at the Wilson's!! LOL! I'm being whisked to the car, I'm bawling, dad's asking why I'm crying, I'm saying "I'm going to be a mom today, that's why!" Keith's saying "GET IN THE VAN OR WE'RE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT!" LOL!!! My mom and sister (15 yrs old at the time) hopped in the back and away we went (FLEW) to the hospital. I don't remember much about the ride except "Breath Karen, we're almost there, are you ok? Remember to time those contractions!" My labour and delivery was a piece of cake and we had a bouncing 7lb, 12 oz baby boy!! Apparently time has flown by because that all seems like yesterday and today he turns into a teenager. A teenager that we are very, very proud to call our son.
Happy Birthday, Andrew!!

The card design is from the new CTMH "Wishes" Card Book. An absolute MUST HAVE for all cardmakers!! I added my own little embellishments and idea's as well. Paper pack is CTMH "It's A Guy Thing"

Happy Birthday, Dad
I made this card for my dad. I also found the idea for the inked embossing on http://www.papercraftplanet.com/ in the cuttlebugg-ers discussion.
Materials:

Materials:
- Stretch Your Imagination expressions cartridge (balloons)
- Opposites Attract expressions cartridge (dad)
- Happy Birthday embossing folder (cuttlebug)
- Sandpaper
- It's A Guy Thing paper pack (CTMH)
- Chocolate ink (CTMH)
- Baby wipes or stamp cleaner of choice
- bling (michaels)
Instructions:
- Using your ink, ink the side of your folder where it says 'cuttlebug'. I ran the pad across the folder till it was covered
- Add your paper (be VERY careful when doing this so you don't smudge your work)
- Run it through your cuttlebug and remove CAREFULLY
- IMMEDIATELY clean your folder off
- Use your sandpaper and distress your paper (the white area on my photo)
- You can cut your pc's out using your expressions anytime
- Using glue dots, adhere your words and balloons and you're done!
