Playing with Canvas

With Christmas fast approaching and a family Birthday/Christmas gathering this Saturday, I thought I had better get in gear for these homemade holiday gifts! In the summer, I celebrated my 40th birthday and we had a little get together. My nieces and nephew had more fun playing with these tortoises than you can believe and they were so happy to see something new and different - just look at Maddie's smile! So I decided to make them canvass layouts for Christmas. I even tried my "Smooch" sprays for the first time to create a colored background! Here's Maddie's ..

Sunday marked a new challenge at Lasting Memories and in keeping with my latest "I'm running behind!" issue, I'm running behind lol but here I am, better late than never, right? Our challenge this week is to use a charm on your LO and I thought this LO was perfect for my birthday cake charm! Not to mention nice to see a summery layout on a freezing cold day! We woke up to -24*C this morning, feeling like -30*C with the wind chill! NUTS! Anyway, here's my LO ..

LM #166 - Anything But Snow!

(50 layout check in: going well! I did have to get some new product at our retreat as my daughter's bday was Halloween theme and I have nothing Halloween! So I sold some goodies and used that to buy what I needed - therefore, did I technically cheat? LOL! Anyway, added another 20 layouts to my count, so I have 22 to go to meet my goal of 50!)

Morning!! It's time for a new challenge at Lasting Memories and this week we want to see "Anything But Snow" on those layouts! Perfect time to showcase a layout from my birthday this past August. My niece was my helper for opening gifts. The majority of this layout was done using my new best friend, "Artbooking" cricut cart! LOVE this thing!
