Hi all!! Gosh, my poor blog is being neglected these days! We have a new challenge at Digitally Sweet this week and the theme is "Your Hero" sponsored by Bugaboo! I chose this darling image and my page was actually created in colour but as I was thinking of my husband while I was putting this together, I wanted a more masculine feel so I turned it all black and white and I love it! I forgot to post my creation for yesterdays challenge at Digitally Sweet which is to use yellow, blue and white. I love digital for the simple reason that if you make a mistake, you can change it! I had originally done this for the wrong challenge and was able to go in and just change all the colors! Phew!! We're being sponsored by Bugaboo this week and I chose "Isabella" for my niece, Isabella's birthday page!

We're embossing at Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenge this week! We are being sponsored by Bugaboo and I chose to showcase "Fancy Umbrellas - Umbrella 1". I wanted to play around with digital embossing filters, so I colored my image in PSE9 and then played around with the filters in there. I took the sentiment from Rhianna :)

For my card today, I used Bugaboo's "Day After Forever". Isn't this gorgeous? I had planned on making it for our anniversary, but I thought the image was just a touch girlie, so we'll be giving this to our daughter when she passes grade 6 in June. Both our kid's are doing amazing in school and I know she would love this!!

Good morning! At Digi Darla's Challenges, we have a new challenge today! ANYTHING GOES! And we're being sponsored by the super cute "BUGABOO!" For my image, I chose kidzgballoon and colored her up in lyra's and added some liquid glass to the balloon, stickles - lots of glitter as this is my nieces birthday card!! Unfortunately, after a weekend of being sick and yesterday getting strep/ear infection, it still sits here on my desk. Happy Birthday Bella Bunny!!

FBW #184 and some Exciting News!

Good morning friends!! I have some exciting news!! I've been asked to (re)join the Flutter By Wednesday DT! I was so excited when Danni asked me if I would like to join the DT!! FBW was my very first DT experience and I'm super happy to be back - thank you Danni and to the FBW team for such a warm welcome!! Before I get to this weeks challenge, a HUGE thank you to all of you who played along in December .. what an amazing amount of talent out there!! For our first challenge of 2012 we're sponsored by Bugaboo so be sure to visit FBW to see how you can play along for a chance to win!!! I have been playing around with digital and PSE9, having a little fun with the coloring. I couldn't wait to get playing around with this image (Bugaboo's "Ava Flowers") and I'm going to send this to my grandma. It looks a lot like a little doll I used to play with and when I was little - she had a "dolly hospital" where she would fix my dolls up. I colored up my image in PSE9 and then uploaded to My Memories Suite and created a 5x7 card! I love it!!
