Another Wedding Layout

Good morning! I thought I would share another layout with you today. This layout is from CTMH "Cherish" Book. This is a MUST HAVE for all you scrapbooker's out there!! I adjusted my layout just a little to incorporate my photo's better. I used a past CTMH campaign paper pack "Felicity". This is the second layout from the album I'm making from my Aunt's wedding last October. These 2 pages represent the wedding party as well as the grandchildren and my daughter (niece). All the girls in pink were in the wedding. There's also a little story to the page on the left. You see that wheel chair? Well, Wally had a little surprise up his sleeve and just as I was about to take the photo (I was the wedding photographer), I could see him shifting a little, so I waited and I am so glad that I did. You see...his surprise was him standing up. Wally is Bill's (groom) best friend and had an accident a few years ago which left him in a wheel chair. He hasn't stood in 6 years. This was a miracle in itself on a very special day.

I still have to add some embellishments, but since I'm just not sure yet, I've left it alone, but still wanted to share. Feel free to post any ideas you may have in the comment section!!

Project Tuesday - Hinged Card!

Hello and welcome to another Project Tuesday!! This week, we've been asked to make a hinged card! These are SUPER fun and easy to create!! This is the second one I have done and I just love making them. For my card this week, I chose to use CTMH "Topstitch" paper and stickease. This card looks much better in person. The photo's don't do this paper justice! It's gorgeous! I'm using this for my first "Workshop On The Go" club in April and I already have 2 ppl signed up now since they've seen the paper! The stamp is from Feb CTMH SOTM.

Puppy Love - Photo

I just had to share this...!!! Look at that puppy love! Riley is 16 mths and Buddy is 5 mths. Cute huh? They love eachother SOOOOO much!

Mr & Mrs...12x12 Wedding Layout w/CTMH "Felicity"

Good morning! Yes, my blog has been quiet since last week. I came down with the flu and I still have a cold, but today I feel better than yesterday, so it's making it's way out. On Saturday, my mom and I went to my cousin Nancy's and scrapbooked for about 10 hours. I managed to get 6 layouts done of my Aunt's wedding as well as my DT projects for this week. I was quite proud of myself, considering my energy level certainly wasn't up to par, that's for sure. A little Buckley's (thanks Nancy!) and we got back at it..lol!

For this layout, I used the CTMH "Felicity" paper from a past campaign. Isn't it beautiful and the colors are perfect for these photo's. I can't wait to get working on the outside photo's that I took. With the fall colors, this paper is PERFECT! I borrowed Nancy's MS edge punch for the borders and the flowers are from Michaels and were actually on the tables at the reception. Sentiments are from CTMH as is the bling!

My New CTMH "Workshop On The Go" Club Starts this April!

Starting in April, I'll be running a monthly CTMH "Workshop On The Go" club! I'm so excited! You can choose the Basic Kit OR the Best Option Kit. The basic kit comes with a 12x12 LV 2 paper pack, an EXCLUSIVE (not available in the catalogue) B-Size stamp as well as an embellishment AND a workshop guide all for $35.50 Cdn (taxes/shipping apply as well). You can then upgrade to the Best Option Kit (prices vary)and you'll receive the Basic kit PLUS more embellishments to complete your projects!! The kits are priced lower than retail cost and are made exclusively for the WOG projects. You won't find the layouts or card guides in any of our books. Each month will feature a new kit from one of the 4 new paper packs in the current catalogue. In each workshop guide, you'll have the instructions to make a 2 pg layout AND/OR 6 cards! In order to do the EXACT layout/cards in the guide, you'll need to have the BEST OPTION kit..but it's not a necessity!

I will be running 2 separate clubs:

• Workshop On The Go Card Club (we'll complete 6 cards)
• Workshop On The Go Layout Club (we'll complete a 2 pg layout)

You can join one or join both! There's no extra cost as it's already included! The best thing is, once we're done our projects, you'll STILL have enough left over to try the layout or card (depending on which you've already completed) PLUS the guide as an additional 2 pg layout and additional 6 cards that you can try at home!!

The Pixie Cottage DT Call!

Hi everyone! The Pixie Cottage is looking for DT members! Here's an idea of what they're looking for:

"The Pixie Cottage is looking for a Senior and Junior design team ,as well as a Tutorial Specialist and Sketch artist, and one artist who specializes in Scrapbook related art. We are a rubber stamp company with a wide variety of stamps. We are looking for a handful of design team members who are ready to grow with us and show their talent by making cards, altered art, scrapbook pages and whatever else they can dream up with our products. We will be accepting members for both Junior and Senior Design Teams.
This call is open to talented artists worldwide. "

Flutter By Wednesday # 99 - "Beautiful" & An Inspirational Photo!

Good morning! Can you believe next week will be Danni's 100th FBW post!!! Wowee!! And guess what!? It's Wednesday and time for another Flutter By Wednesday challenge! This one is alot of fun! Danni chose an inspirational photo for us to use and isn't Tink just super cute?? I actually did this 9x9 layout last year for my daughter and I asked Danni if it was ok that I cheated a little so I could showcase it again! I think it deserves that! I absolutely LOVE the 9x9 "Simply Snapshots" pages by CTMH. They are SO easy to use. So, without further 'ado', here is my inspiration for this week's challenge. I hope you love it as much as I (and my daughter!) do!

Project Tuesday - "Home Is Where Your Dog Is"

Hello! It's time for another Project Tuesday!! Today's project used a template for a bird house. I decided to go with a dog house!! I couldn't resist. I had these stickers and thought...perfect!! I've left my top so I can open it and add a couple little treats in there.

I'm Here!

Hello! I'm just stopping by for a sec to let you know I am still here! I got tired of my lagging computer and reformatted this morning, so working on getting everything back to normal. We spent the wknd watching the rest of the olympics, so I have not crafted in days! I am so behind, but this computer has been driving me crazy and I couldn't take it anymore. Now it seems to be a bit better, but it still has a few issues. Oh well, we'll work em' out!

Ashleigh had her first dance on Friday night and she had a ball. 2 boys asked her to dance and she told me "Mommy, I didn't know what to say, so I said no". Well, turns out when hubby was getting coffee, he ran into Brandon's mom and she said "What did your daughter say to Brandon? He was devastated!!" Turns out when he asked her to dance, poor Ashleigh turned and literally RAN AWAY! LOL! This poor boy is in gr 5 and in her class (split class). He has a little crush on her and she turned tail and ran like the wind! Poor Brandon...lol!

Well, I am off to pick up Miss Muffet and then House returns tonight with all new ep's. That's one thing about the Olympics being over, our shows return, but I do miss them. I don't watch sports on TV at all, but man, I think I watched every single sport in the last 17 days!! I've learned about curling even!! What an exciting 17 days and I have to sneak this in...WTG CANADA!! And to all the World Athletes out there, you should be darned proud of yourselves!!!
