Hello! Happy Friday! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. We did and enjoying some family time as well. Lots of yummy goodies, laughs and old family movies. Love it! Canvas Gifts

Morning! 2 more sleeps!! Amazing how much we prepare and then Christmas is just over in a flash! Anyway, I wanted to share with you the gifts I made for my nieces and my nephew :) I've discovered I love working with canvas. The best thing to use is liquid glass :) Holds very well! I've also inspired my friend Denise to try one, so can't wait to see what she comes up with! I gave these to the kids on Saturday night and they loved them!

Morning! 3 more sleeps to Christmas Day! So excited! We celebrated our Breen family Christmas gift exchange AND 3 birthdays last night and was a lot of fun. Dug out the old family movies and how amazing too see the kids (and the rest of us! LOL!) all those yrs ago. Trip down memory lane. Anyhow .. a new challenge at LM today and this is our last challenge for 2013! "Here Comes Santa Claus" is our challenge and the perfect time for me to showcase this accordian album I made. Just perfect for a pair of tiny hands to add photos and words

I decided to do a digital project with this. I colored it in PSE and then loaded up into my My Memories Suite V5 and created the card face. It's on a 6x6 page, so now I can print or I can even send as an email attachment to someone if I want to :)

Playing with Canvas

With Christmas fast approaching and a family Birthday/Christmas gathering this Saturday, I thought I had better get in gear for these homemade holiday gifts! In the summer, I celebrated my 40th birthday and we had a little get together. My nieces and nephew had more fun playing with these tortoises than you can believe and they were so happy to see something new and different - just look at Maddie's smile! So I decided to make them canvass layouts for Christmas. I even tried my "Smooch" sprays for the first time to create a colored background! Here's Maddie's ..

Sunday marked a new challenge at Lasting Memories and in keeping with my latest "I'm running behind!" issue, I'm running behind lol but here I am, better late than never, right? Our challenge this week is to use a charm on your LO and I thought this LO was perfect for my birthday cake charm! Not to mention nice to see a summery layout on a freezing cold day! We woke up to -24*C this morning, feeling like -30*C with the wind chill! NUTS! Anyway, here's my LO ..

LM #169 - Gingerbread House!

Morning all! I'm late, but these days, what else is new - I just can't seem to stay on top of things! Busy season! This week at Lasting Memories it's all about "Red/Green/White" so I wanted to (re)showcase this awesome LO I made back in 2011. I can't believe this was 2 yrs ago! Ash and I took a gingerbread kit to my sisters and it was my niece/nephews very first one! Was so fun! I admit, I'm cheating but I just haven't had a minute the last bit. I have set a goal this week to get in my craftroom and try to get a few LO's ahead (we'll see how that goes!! LOL) Be sure to chk out the awesome DT inspiration and thanks for stopping by!

DSC #65 - Vintage Christmas

Hi everyone! Hope you had a wonderful week! This week at Digitally Sweet, we're being sponsored by Digi Darla Designs! Our challenge is an inspiration photo based on a Vintage Christmas. I chose the sentiment on my project to showcase for DDD and I decided to do something a little different - I made a 2014 calendar page!

My Memories Suite came out with V5 so I dl'd that and went to town! I uploaded the actual inspiration photo as my background and then played with the opacity a little and added the calendar. Easy peasy! Thanks for stopping by!
