Cut For Cancer

Last weekend we had our first Winter Retreat and it was a HUGE hit!! I managed to get a lot done this time around. I have done these photo's in digital, but I wanted to get them on real paper - the traditional way. This was such a proud moment for me as a Mother and for Ashleigh in what was her very OWN decision. She came to me one day and said "Mom .. I really want to cut my hair." Of course I looked at her, those long beautiful golden, curly locks and asked "Why!?" She turned to me and said "For cancer Mom. I want to give my hair to someone who needs it more than I do and besides, it grows back." For a 10 year old to say that, on her own no less, I was both awed and so very proud of her that day. So, we made the appt with a friend of ours who was more than happy to do it. Brydee straightened her hair and off it went. Ashleigh looked beautiful with her new hair style!! Such a proud moment as a parent!!

Supplies:
  • CTMH "Reflections" for the layout pattern idea
  • CTMH "Roxie" paper and stickease
