YAY! I am DONE a whole set of pics from our fishing trip! This is the last of them. I did 6 LO's and I love them all. Can't wait to get everything printed now. Amazing really, when you look at these pics, how small the kid's were once and Andrew would let us take his pic. Now it's a fight most of the time, but I just go in stealth mode, lol, and get what I want!! Have a great day!

Beautiful and Some News!

Hello!! My mom and I took a Motorcycle Training Course this past wknd and wow, was it hard work! Friday night from 7-10 in class and then Sat 8-4 on bikes and Sun 8-5 on the bikes. Saturday morning we didn't even turn the bikes on, you pushed a partner to get balance control etc and then finally turned them on Saturday late morning. We were both completely exhausted on Saturday night and muscles we didn't know we even had hurt. Keith treated us to dinner, so was really nice. Back up and at it on Sunday and that was tough bc we were so darn tired. I'm exhausted, but I passed!!! Now I have my M2 and less restrictions and hubby's pretty darn proud of me as I am of myself!! Came home to a wonderful dinner on the table from my awesome hubby!!! Thank God I have today off though .. I am SO tired out.

LMCB #56 - Sketch and Fall Colors!

Good morning and welcome to another Lasting Memories challenge! This week we're asking you to use this sketch AND fall colors!!

I almost goofed (and keep in mind, these are MY challenges!! LOL!) and forgot to use fall colors! So I actually have this done twice!! I have been doing a lot of digital and find it's such an easy way to get caught up on all those pics that we have sitting on CD's. Here's another LO I did using MyMemories and it's some more pics from a family wedding a few years back!! This is the original one before I realized I had to use fall colors!! Thank God for digital on this LO!! I just went back and changed the colors. So, which do you like better?? I like the one below .. it really shows the colors in Ashleigh's dress more. Love to hear your thoughts!!

Good Times Together

Hello!! Here's the last LO to my Little Picasso set. You can see the first page HERE and the second HERE. This is the final result. Look at that child of mine .. lol!! She had a BLAST with those paints and right in the pool she went and then in for a warm bath. I just adore the one of Andrew and Ashleigh with their heads bent together.

I am really having fun with this software. I've dabbled in digi before, but since I dl'ed MyMemories, I find I'm in here all the time and really getting caught up on old photo's. Hubby said to me last night "Isn't that cheating though?" My reply? Nope, it would cost me more to print all these photo's then it would to print each LO and they're just as hard to do, just less mess!! My friend has a site that we all upload too and split the shipping cost, so it's a win, win situation. Love it. On that note .. Have a great day!

Little Picasso

Morning! Here's another LO from when Ashleigh was just little. She's almost 11 and she was 2 here. This corresponds with yesterdays layout. I set her up to the table on a gorgeous summer day and gave her paints and a rock. Well, she had a ball. You'll have to check in tmw for one more corresponding LO that shows the end result!! I teared up looking at these. They grow so fast!! Have a fabulous day!

A Special Bond Between Friends

I was going to wait and post this, but I (obviously lol) couldn't!! This is my daughter back in '04. She wasn't quite 4 yrs old. When she was smaller, our cat had kittens in her bedroom and I actually had to help this one as mom was too tired to open her sac. Once I did that, mom perked up and took over. That kitten and our daughter had a special bond from day 1 and as you can see ... Patches let Ashleigh do anything to her. Still does to this day!! They certainly have quite a bond!!

Best Friends

As our kid's get older, sometimes I wonder if they even care the other exists!! I know, deep down, they certainly do, but they also go through stages of "I wish is was just me" and "Oh, (s)he is making me SOOO mad!!!!" among other things. BUT if something happens to either one .. it's all forgotten and the "protective" part comes out. One of the things I LOVE about this photo is the innocence of 2 siblings without a care in the world but their painting and eachother. This is why I love photography. Enjoy your day today!

The Worth Of Memories

Hi there!! Naptime at the Wilson household which means .. yep, you guess it! Scrapbook time! Ok, so digital, but I am really getting caught up on some old photo's! The dress was handmade for Ashleigh and she looked darling in it.

Family Vacation

Good morning friends!! Wow are we having some HEAT here in Ontario! The weather has been absolutely gorgeous! The AC's could actually come on during the day, but the nights are cool, so we just hang in there instead of paying the extra hydro! Today they're calling for 27* which will feel like 33*!! In Sept!! Memories

Hi all!! I did some ride practicing this morning and then came home and felt like doing a layout. I'm going to enter this one in a couple challenges. The photo's are from July 2003 and Grandma has since passed. I found these photo's on a CD and thought they should be scrapbooked!!! Hope everyone is having a great Sat.
