LMCB # 53 - Inspiration

Morning! I'm a day late, but we have a new challenge at Lasting Memories this week! We're asking you to show us who or what inspires you the most. For me, my entire family inspires me in many different ways, my photo's inspire me .. I have a lot of inspiration in my life. I chose to do a digital scrapbook using MyMemories to show my husband and children who inspire me each and every day to be the best that I can be. To be the best mom/wife/friend. Sometimes we wonder if we're making the right decisions and choices but for me, when I question that, I just look around me and know I'm doing the best I can. If I could scrapbook my entire family, I would. Hmmm, might have to do an "Inspiration" album.

Hello and Happy Friday!! Another week gone, can you believe that??? We've had a nice week off, but the weather has really been up and down. Oh well, not complaining! Rainy days meant movie/book/craft days! Tonight we're heading to dinner to celebrate my birthday (passed) as well as hubby's with family. We're looking fwd to it. Sat we have friends coming up and THEY are cooking US dinner! Gotta LOVE that!! So it'll be a nice end to the week. I don't go back to work till Tuesday and I'm milking it right to the end. Andrew starts Gr 10 on Tues and Ashleigh will be getting in the school bedtime/wake up routine for her back to school in Sept. Wish me luck!

This is another LO I did using MyMemories. Isn't he beautiful? My God, he's stunning and I am in awe that I took the photo!! Hope you like it!

Pink Flamingo's!

Hi all! Here's another digital layout I did using MyMemories software. I haven't had a lot of chance to play with it, but now that I have my computer back, I am loving it!! I love that I was able to match the paper to my photo's here. Oh, I can see this becoming addicting because I don't have to make a mess and since my craft room is upstairs, I don't have to worry about trying to find an hour when the kid's are napping/busy, I can just play right at the kitchen table!! LOVE it!

Our Saltwater Tank

Hey all!! I meant to post this yesterday and forgot. Better late than never though, right? This is another digital LO I did using my new "MyMemories" software! LOVE it! I took these pics of our saltwater tank and thought this would be a fun way to do up a couple of the pics. Hubby's pride and joy. On that note, I am off to work on something else and enjoy my day as I have an unexpected day off and we're on holidays next week, so this would be an official start for me!!! Have a great day!!

Hope everyone's having a great day, enjoying the summer .. not much left!! I had a birthday last Friday and got pretty spoiled!! New clothes, books, a gorgeous frame, an edible arrangement, beautiful handmade cards from my daughter, niece and nephew and hubby/kid's got me a new camera lens! 150-500mm and it's HUGE! I felt pretty darn special! Once I get my pc back I can start updating my photography site as I've been having fun playing with my new lens. Bike riding is getting better and better to. Last night hubby and I went and did some more practicing and then a nice ride along the lake. He thought I was turning to come home and I went right on by so he had a good laugh. He's pretty proud of me and I'm pretty proud of myself!! He said I'm progressing really well and when I take the wknd course, I'll have no trouble at all. Good to know! LOL! Well, on that note, I think I may have another go at this software. Oh, one more thing!! For all you scrapbookers out there, I'm running a DT call at Lasting Memories this mth! Hello!

Can you believe it's 2nd week of August already! WOW! I had an email from my Aunt this morning asking about my blogging, saying she missed it and I realized I haven't blogged (or been on here) for almost 2 weeks! Life just gets so busy and I have daycare kids with the highest ENERGY level EVER so that doesn't make for good blogging time! I've been learning to ride my new bike and Ashleigh took tons of pics/video of hubby teaching me and thank God he's patient! LOL! We had a wedding last wknd and hubby was in the wedding .. all wore kilts and we learned what SOME of those boys wear under their kilts! LOL! The bride/groom decided instead of tinkling glasses etc for a kiss, we had to do a donation to a charity and they chose Bikes Without Borders. Well, groom's Aunt offered $100 donation to see what they all had under their kilts!! LOL!! Since they weren't expecting it, some did not have a stitch of clothing under there! OI! My poor hubby was mortified, lol, thank God he was wearing underwear! LOL! Nothing like 100 ppl chk'ing out your butt! So, as you can see, we've been super busy with learning, weddings and of course, ball. Andrew's almost done for the season and has done so well. He thinks he'll want to try hardball in a couple yrs. He got his braces on Monday too, so I'm kind of glad ball's winding down since he pitches. Oh! And now we've decided we're heading to Florida again in Oct for 2 weeks, so planning that too!! (Aunt Linda, now you'll be all caught up!!)
