LMCB #167 - Christmas Traditions

Our challenge this week at Lasting Memories is "Christmas Traditions". Since we haven't started our Christmas decorating yet, I am showing a 'naked' layout, with photos to come. We have so many traditions in our home as I love Christmas. That and Thanksgiving are my most favourite times of the year. Now that my daughter is older, she's really getting more involved in helping me decorate the house and I love that. Over the yrs, we've aquired so many ornaments, that when I decided I wanted a 'theme' tree, we had to have TWO trees! LOL! Looks so pretty though. So stay tuned for photos to come that will fill these layouts.

I used a new CTMH kit from our "Holiday Guide" called "Sparkle and Shine". Of course I added my own twist on it. I have to say, the bling?? I do not get a long with this stuff as a rule. There's some bad words flying, sweating, red face and frustration normally involved before I let a nasty word fly and throw it in the trash! LOL!! This bling though? O M Gosh! LOVE it!!! CTMH has come up with some way to make it work without binding up and sticking on itself. I loved working with it. So here's my 2 page spread ..

DSC #63 - Anything Goes!

It's "Anything Goes" at Digitally Sweet this week! One of my favourite challenges and we're being sponsored by 

I was a little stumped as to what I wanted to do, I wanted to try something different, yet keep it 100% digital. So, I was inspired by a fellow DT member, Sarah (you have to see what she did!!).  Here's my project using "Snowflake Quality Control" from LSS. I had her pre-colored on my desk, so I snapped a pic with my phone, emailed it to myself, edited and uploaded to my digital program. The kit is from MyMemories Suite called "Eskimo Kisses" and I colored her up with my Spectrum Noir markers

So that makes my creation today 100% digital!!

LM #166 - Anything But Snow!

(50 layout check in: going well! I did have to get some new product at our retreat as my daughter's bday was Halloween theme and I have nothing Halloween! So I sold some goodies and used that to buy what I needed - therefore, did I technically cheat? LOL! Anyway, added another 20 layouts to my count, so I have 22 to go to meet my goal of 50!)

Morning!! It's time for a new challenge at Lasting Memories and this week we want to see "Anything But Snow" on those layouts! Perfect time to showcase a layout from my birthday this past August. My niece was my helper for opening gifts. The majority of this layout was done using my new best friend, "Artbooking" cricut cart! LOVE this thing!
