LMCB #92 - "Sweatin' To The Oldies!"
Better late than never, right? Here's my LO for this weeks challenge at Lasting Memories where we're "Sweatin' To The Oldies" with a twist! It has to be a summer song from the 50's to the 70's!! I found these pics from a cottage vacation my sister and her family took our kid's on a few yrs ago and thought it was perfect and the song that immediately popped in my head (because of the title) was "Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay" - written by Otis Redding and Steve Cropper - lyrics as recorded by Otis Redding December 7, 1967, just three days before his death in a plane crash outside Madison, Wisconsin - #1 for 4 weeks in 1968
And look at you! You've been busy!! So funny.. I have another layout that I am doing (Way later on) that I am using this song title for as well! This is perfect! I like how you did that scalloped background image. It's sand and water image?? right?? Is it your own photo??
