"I Finally Won A Cake, Mom!"

Imagine my surprise when the phone rang this afternoon and it was Ashleigh saying "Mom! I FINALLY won a cake!" Poor girl has been trying for years. Every yr the Gr 8's do a cake raffle and they are marked on the cakes they make - all money goes towards the gr 8 grad. When Andrew was at DPPS, he won 3 yrs in a row!! They buy tickets for $.25 each and then drop them in the jars. Ashleigh was VERY determined and had a plan in place this morning when she left with her $5 bill and it paid off!! Congrats Ashleigh!! Can we eat it now????
